We're in the midst of yet another stellar trip at Rivers Inlet.
Our “mouth trips” have generated some good fish and prize-winning Chinook are showing up more and more each day. A little bit of rain should also increase our numbers.
We've gotten a nice haul of Chinook between 20 and 30 lbs. plus lots of Coho and Pinks. For best results we're still fishing 16 and 22 pulls on the side rods and 5 to 8 pulls on the back one.
The biggest news in the inlet is a massive 77 pound Chinook caught at the Wall—nice work!
If you are targeting the big one and want a trophy fish with all the bragging rights I recommend Whale Rock, the Slide, Kilbella Point and Marker 16.
