Big Coho (Silvers) have arrived in the inlet, mainly around Wadham’s Point.
These are the big, hook nosed northerns that are extremely exciting to catch. The resort has recorded
Chinook fishing has remained sporadically, inconsistent, but almost half of those caught are over thirty pounds. The Slide, Marker 16 and Stone Point are the best producers. With rains expected in the next few days’ action should improve. It has been an extremely dry summer and the fish have been slow to arrive.
Big fish honours go to brothers Dick and Rodger Scott who caught 20 & 21 lb Cohos, Ian Juug netted a 20 lb Coho, and Rod McCharles nabbed a 20 lb Coho and a 34 lb Chinook!.
