After another successful mouth trip, the Coho keep coming in in floods. They seem to be hanging a little offshore but your good ol’ fishmaster will put you on them. All in all we had a good morning bite.
Then it was off to the outpost for a good hot lunch: cheeseburgers and marinated salmon done skin down on the bar-b-que by the fishmaster himself. The outpost is located in a little cove in Goose Bay. Then it was back to the inlet to do some trophy fishing for the BIG ones!
The bite came on, big fish after big fish. Congrats to Johanne Lebrun on her first stellar 42 pound salmon—good honeymoon fish! And her husband got a 40 pounder a little while later plus a half dozen more!
